We’re delighted to share that our Pub Partners, Beyond Pubs & Dining, have been recognised once again at the SME MK and Buckinghamshire Business Awards 2026.

The team behind The Cross Keys in Woolstone and The Plough in Simpson were named Silver Winners in the ‘Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism Business of the Year’ category – an incredible achievement in a highly competitive field.
Led by partners Hannah and Elzan Seraj, this latest award is a reflection of the care, consistency and passion they bring to their pubs every single day.
As Pub Partners with Wells & Co, Hannah and Elzan have created two brilliant pubs that are firmly rooted in their local communities. Their focus on great food, quality drinks and a genuinely warm welcome has helped both sites become some of the most loved places to eat and drink in Milton Keynes.
The Cross Keys, in particular, has enjoyed a standout couple of years, previously taking home ‘Best Restaurant’ at the MK Inspiration Awards and ‘Hospitality Business of the Year’ at last year’s SME awards. This continued recognition speaks volumes about the standards the team set and continue to maintain.
What makes this success even more special is the consistency across both pubs. Whether visiting The Cross Keys or The Plough, guests can expect the same attention to detail, the same welcoming atmosphere and the same commitment to quality.
That doesn’t happen by chance. It’s the result of strong, hands-on leadership and a team that clearly takes pride in what they do.
Commenting on the award, Hannah said:
“This recognition means a huge amount to us. From day one, our focus has been on creating pubs that people genuinely love spending time in, and that comes down to the incredible teams we have around us. We’re so proud of what’s been built at both sites and very grateful for the continued support from our guests and local community.”
We’re incredibly proud to work alongside Hannah, Elzan and their teams, and this latest award is thoroughly deserved.
Congratulations on another fantastic achievement!
