Brewpoint is celebrating a remarkable double at the regional Society of Independent Brewers Association (SIBA) Indie Beer Awards 2025, with two of its flagship beers recognised as Category Champions.
Foghorn was crowned number one in the Bottle & Can Session Pale Ale (up to 4.4%) category, while Supernova claimed the top spot in the Bottle & Can Premium Lager (4.5% to 6.4%) category.
Foghorn now a multi category winner
This latest success builds on Foghorn’s earlier accolade in August, when it was recognised as the regional Keg Session Pale Ale champion, further cementing its reputation as one of the East of England’s standout beers. Both Foghorn and Supernova will now progress to the national finals at BeerX in Liverpool next March, where they will compete against champions from across the UK.
Tom Foddy, Commercial Director at Wells & Co, said: “It’s double delight for Brewpoint to see both Foghorn and Supernova recognised in their categories. We’re incredibly proud to represent the East of England in multiple categories — it’s a true reflection of the skill, creativity and passion that goes into every Brewpoint beer. To see our beers go forward to the national finals is a moment the whole team can celebrate.”
In addition to these headline wins, Brewpoint’s Bedford Stout, Genesis, also took home a bronze medal in the Bottle & Can Stout & Porter (6.4% and under) category, highlighting the depth and quality of the brewery’s range.
Foghorn is a hazy, sessionable American-style IPA, offering gentle pine notes and bursts of stonefruit and citrus, finishing crisp and refreshing at under 4.4% ABV. Supernova is a full-flavoured premium lager, balancing malt sweetness with delicate hop character, delivering a smooth, highly drinkable experience.
These awards shine a spotlight on Brewpoint as a rising force in the UK’s independent brewing scene and reinforce Wells & Co’s commitment to producing modern, characterful beers with local roots in Bedfordshire.
Foghorn and Supernova are available on draft at all Wells & Co sites across Bedford, including Brewpoint, The Gordon Arms, d’Parys, and The Park, with cans also available to purchase online at Brewpoint’s website: https://www.brewpoint.co.uk.
