The Radcliffe Arms in Hitchin is set to undergo a transformative £600,000 refurbishment this March as part of our continued investment into enhancing our estate.
Feedback from the local community has played a large part of the renovation planning, with a keen focus on elevating the customer experience. A significant part of the project will see the addition of garden room with retractable roof, perfect for those summer days, in addition to a new interactive darts lane. A refreshed interior layout will also showcase the relocated pizza oven, taking the dining experience to a new level.
The Radcliffe Arms, part of our Managed House estate, is well known locally for its busy calendar of weekly events, food and drink offers, and as a relaxed meeting point for friends, families and after-work gatherings. Those popular events and deals will return, accompanying a brand-new menu launch upon the pub’s reopening,
Jamie Philcox, General Manager at The Radcliffe Arms, said: “The Radcliffe Arms has always been an important part of the local community, and we’re incredibly proud of the role it continues to play here in Hitchin.
“This refurbishment is all about making the pub even better for our customers – improving the space and the experience, especially outdoors, while enhancing the character and atmosphere. The project shows real belief in the team, the pub and the community. We’re really looking forward to welcoming everyone back and showing them what we’ve been working on.”
The Radcliffe Arms will be reopening on Wednesday 1st April, welcoming both regulars and new guests to experience its refreshed look.
